A valuable guide to researching Case Law, created by Skokie Public Library reference librarian Steven Jablonski, is available. Other resources include links to Illinois legislation and law via the Illinois General Assembly website, and links to federal law and regulations, the United States Code, and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) via the Cornell Law School's Legal Information Institute.

The Library’s subscription allows access to the statutes of all 50 states as well as federal and Illinois decisions.  Illinois law reviews and practice manuals are also included. Cases include KeyCite status flags that let you know whether the case has been questioned or overturned by subsequent decisions.
