Braille Read-in: Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
March 7, 2004

Young Braille readers came to Skokie Public Library from all around the Chicago area to celebrate Dr. Seuss's 100th birthday. In addition to enjoying some Dr. Seuss stories, program participants sang songs and took turns reading aloud from Kate DiCamillo's 2001 Newbery Honor book, Because of Winn-Dixie. Take a look!

Pssst... When you're finished here, check out photo highlights from other Youth Services celebrations in honor of Dr. Seuss's 100th birthday: Seussentennial and Green Eggs and Ham and Other Stories.
