Jammin' Chickens
April 24, 2003
Kids filled the Youth Services Program Room for a musical jam session in the spirit of Sandra Boynton’s book, Philadelphia Chickens: a Too-Illogical Zoological Musical Revue! Everyone did the chicken dance and played different musical instruments with so much energy that onlookers felt surrounded by a live orchestra! Even the littlest jammers dressed up as “distinguished cows” –- complete with tails, pink noses, top hats, and dancing sticks -– for a chorus line sing-a-long of the Philadelphia Chicken song, Cows. Take a look!
