Build It! Architecture for Kids
September and October 2004
For two months last fall, the Skokie Public Library was the temporary home to archKIDecture, an independent educational project that teaches children about architecture through a series of hands-on activities. The traveling "Build It!" exhibit included a series of hands-on activities for children and families. Participants designed a tree house, decorated a skyscraper, and built a cityscape of Skokie.
