Double Click Design Club
March 29, 2005
The Youth Services Computer Lab was transformed into a bustling newspaper production studio for the spring session of our popular Double Click Design Club. Children in third through eighth grades researched, designed, developed, and printed individual newsletters. Under the direction of Computer Assistant Ted Quiballo, the children wrote about themselves and their families, their schools, and the top ten things they value most in life. In the process, the young "journalists" learned how to safely search for pictures on the Internet and how Microsoft Publisher can be used to design a newsletter. Take a look!
Double Click Design Club meets quarterly during the school year and monthly during the summer. Check the kids' program calendar to find out when the next session of Double Click Design Club will be offered. We look forward to seeing you!
