Hooray for Our Heroes! Program
August 19, 2002
On August 19, children of all ages celebrated heroes everywhere with a special gathering of local heroes in the Petty Auditorium. A police officer, fire inspector, registered nurse, and emergency veterinarian read stories of bravery and courage, and shared their personal stories of on-the-job heroism. A few children were even "transformed" into little heroes. Take a look!
