Party with the Presidents
February 16, 2004

We had fun honoring our presidents on President's Day! Representatives from Pack-o-Fun magazine showed us how to use air-drying clay to make small statues of presidents and other presidential things. While we worked on our crafts, we watched the award winning video So You Want to be President and learned interesting facts about our past presidents.

We even had a few special visitors! President "Teddy Roosevelt" was first to come by and told us amazing facts about his life, including how he loved to read and always had a small book with him so he could read if was bored. Later in the day, Presidents "Abraham Lincoln" and "George Washington" read us stories and told us more facts about their lives. We greeted each president by playing Hail to the Chief and throwing confetti. Take a look!
