Cuban Rhythms of Life by Kathy Konecki

Cuban Rhythms of Life is an exhibit
of photographs taken on a tripto Cuba in March of 2001. Shot in
and
around the city of Havana, the exhibit demonstrates the warmth and
friendliness of the Cuban people. The colorful photos
dramatically portray a vividand beautiful cultural life, although one that is
touched by poverty.
Ms. Konecki’s work has been shownat Café 28 in Chicago, the Gallery Karl Oskar in Kansas City, and the Chicago Public Library. Other documentary series that she has exhibited include the people and places of Bali, Tokyo, Hawaii, and Mexico.
