Make Your Mark
An Altered Books Workshop
An altered book is a form of artwork that embellishes and adds to a used or recycled book. Join us at the Library on Wednesday,
June 20 from 6:00 to 9:00pm in the Youth Services Craft Room
and create your own altered book!
Books and supplies will be provided, but participants are invited to bring personal materials as well to include in their project.
This program is ideal for ages 13 and older. Registration is required. Sign up at the Readers' Services Desk or by phone at 847.324.3175. In the meantime, see examples of altered books in the altered book and journal gallery of artist Ingrid Dijkers. Spread the word!
