There are numerous schools attended by students who live in Skokie. Most high school students attend either Niles West or Niles North, the two public high schools in District 219. Students who live in the northeastern portion of Skokie (zip code 60203) attend Evanston Township High School. Public elementary schools of Skokie are divided among six school districts: 65, 68, 69, 72, 73, and 73½. Students who don’t attend public schools attend one of the elementary or secondary parochial schools located either in Skokie or in the surrounding communities.
Oakton Community College has a campus in Skokie and Hebrew Theological College is also located in Skokie. There are many other colleges and universities, both private and public, located in the Skokie area.
